I can't tell sometimes how lucky I am to have such wonderful friends ... and talented too!!
A couple years ago, my friend Amy was getting married and ordered TK Jewelry for all the special ladies involved in the wedding ... these were the bracelets and earrings for the bridemaids.
Amy is an amazing graphic designer, she helped me design my wedding invitations and program ... and was one of the lovely ladies who helped decorate on our special day.
Anywho ... while going through this whole process through LWL, I decided to create a totally separate image for TK Bridal from TK Jewelry. I want to keep the signature TK heart ... but have the logo and all associated materials have a more "platinum" kind of feel ... classy ... sophisticated ... special ... glamorous ... like a bride on her wedding day.
I thought - who better to help me with this than my good friend Amy Barr!! So we chatted and talked about what I want to do ... including creating a beautiful collateral piece that I can leave at hair salons and bridal boutiques ... and she was very excited!!
She gave me lots to think about ... like photos and wording ... how I wanted it to feel and the colors ...
Thinking about TK Jewelry ... TK Bridal .. and figuring out what to focus on has been very challenging for me. One of the other assignments we had for our last LWL meeting was to write a press release ... I won't share that yet -- cuz it's a work in progress ... but I did share my "about TK Bridal Jewelry" statement with Amy ... and would love to hear what anyone who's reading this thinks about it ...
About TK Bridal Jewelry: Tabitha (TK) Rhodes has been making jewelry for over 5 years. Her designs are inspired by those around her, customizing jewelry for brides and bridal parties is her passion. Drawing inspiration from the colors and personal style of each bride, she creates pieces that a bride wears beautifully and/or fondly gives to her bridesmaids and honored friends, bestowing upon them a sense of beauty, grace and importance – a small gift for their never-ending friendship, support and love on this momentous occasion.
If you're reading this ... I'd love to hear from you ...
