Starting out with the holidays ... I was able to create some new and pretty pieces like this fun labradorite necklace I made for my Mom and these pretty earrings I made for my Mother-in-Law.
After the holidays I had the chance to visit some friends in San Francisco and of course my favorite bead store in the WORLD - BEADISSIMO!!
And it looks like I will be teaching a couple classes there this summer ... here's a sneak peek - branch necklace.
Since then ... I've been rather neglectful of my jewelry making life ... I am working on jewelry for four weddings - just finished up one for a friend in Austin - gorgeous mossy green and peridot on oxidized sterling.
I'm also working on some pieces for another friend who's sister is getting married later this year... and the list goes on. Hmmmm ... maybe someone is trying to tell me something?
Other than that - I've been consumed by Roller Derby (which is ok) but with that and a full-time job it's been a little challenging to balance everything in my life and jewelry making has definitely taken a back seat for now.
I'm looking forward to getting it together ... I love making jewelry so much and just wish there was more time in the day to balance all the things life throws my way!
